Hi, I’m Josiah.

Josiah is the founder of Kelly Jacobs Care and has spent more than 8 years supporting participants across the Ipswich region. His journey into the disability sector began through both lived experience and a genuine passion for care work, with a strong belief that every person deserves to feel supported, valued, and connected to their community.

That passion first began to grow when Josiah became a father. After the birth of his first child, and following an early diagnosis of Autism Level 2 and Global Developmental Delay at the age of 2, his perspective on support, inclusion, and community connection deepened in a very personal way. This experience inspired him to step into the industry and dedicate his career to helping people live with greater confidence, dignity, and quality of life.

Over the years, Josiah has grown professionally from Support Worker to Team Leader, building hands on experience across a range of support environments, including Supported Independent Living homes. His background has given him a strong understanding of what quality support truly looks like at every stage of a participant’s journey.

Josiah holds a Certificate IV in Disability Services, a Master of Business, and a wide range of additional qualifications that strengthen both his practical knowledge and leadership within the sector. He brings together compassion, lived understanding, and professional expertise to ensure the supports delivered through Kelly Jacobs Care are thoughtful, high quality, and genuinely person centred.

At the heart of everything Josiah does is a simple but powerful belief — that everyone deserves a good quality of life, and no one should ever be left behind.
